Writing on Israel’s Clash with the Flotilla

  

Yesterday morning I woke up and did my usual routine. I started a pot of coffee, sat down at my computer to check my email, and to check on the latest current events. In my inbox was a Warden Message from Tel Aviv (I’m still on the mailing list from my days of residing in Israel).  I went straight to Google News to see what was going on and I was outraged! I huridly wrote my opinion and submited it to AND Magazine. I was hot, I was angry, but I think I laid my point out:

Bride vs. Photographer

The Husband and I were married on July 4, 2009. (The ‘legal ceremony’ was a few days earlier… shhhh!) He proposed on Thanksgiving. Yeah, I know, we’re patriotic! The Husband says we’ll probably have our first born on Labor Day. 

It’s now November and there is some small drama regarding our photographs leaving intense feelings of frustration. What brings this up for me are the following emails regarding my wedding portraits. I have been going in circles and I’m extremely disappointed. I thought I would share because I know some people find entertainment in drama… you know who you are!

I need divine intervention… the law of attraction… or all the positive kharma in the world! 

The Husband and I have been trying to decide where our next move in life will be and we decided on Boston. Boston is one of my top 3 favorite cities next to Tel Aviv and ahead of New Orleans. (I know, quite a mix there). 2011 here we come. This decision has both of us excited. You have to first understand that it took a while to come to this conclusion. I’ve always been pulling for Boston but have been extremely flexible. With my abilities and connections I can find a good job pretty much anywhere along the East Coast (just not here in Panama). With The Husband’s experience he could have pretty much any job he wanted in Washington (well not any job) but he’s ready to go back to school full-time. Boston, Here we come!

I’ve been MIA on wordpress. Yup, been tied up in other interests lately that I want to share with you.

I am an avid fan on YouTube. Since I don’t really trust the big bad media of CNN, FOX, BBC, etc. etc. I look for my own news. I want to know what people are thinking and saying about events from people whose jobs are not lead by an agenda or if it is, it’s a personal agenda not corporate. Ok, so I rant…

San Blas Islands in Panama

Recently The Husband and I traveled to San Blas Islands in Panama. This trip included off roading adventures, camping on Islands, and interacting with the Kuna Yala natives.  All the details and more photos are on my Panama Blog in “San Blas was SanBlastic!”  We had a blast. Check it out!!
